It was really awesome until I updated. It no longer has the simple interface it had before hiding parts of the song, and chords when you need to show them to play a song. It was the only app I ever used for absolutely anything to do with guitar but changing the interface was a downgrade. I wish I would have never updated. It still is a awesome app, and Im going to give the upgrade a little more time before looking for anything else?

Just purchased and did my first song. This is GREAT! I remember back in the 60s when we listened to old vinyl records over and over to learn lyrics and chords. Its so easy now.

WAS awesome when I purchased two years ago, but they quit adding songs to the catalog six months ago. If you expect to find tabs to any new song that comes out, look elsewhere.

As The Cars say, "I guess youre just what I needed". This app is no exception. Its not perfect, but for learning on the fly, its awesome.

The editor does not work with iOS 8 - please update!

I love the app and all the functionality and flexibility it provides. It works fine on my iPad, and used to work perfectly on my iPhone. But now, when I try to synchronize from my iPhone, I receive an error message about mutant files. On my iPad, it works fine and syncs fine, but not the phone. I sent at least three emails asking for assistance, but have still not received an answer from support - going on at least three months now. Excellent app, but if you cant sync from all your devices, it makes for extra work to manually keep devices updated and synced with adds and changes. With no response from support, there is no other alternative.

Editor does not work with iOS 8 !!!! Please update !! App has been great until now.

I love this app but I just got an iPad air 2 with iOS 8 and the edit function that was so valuable no longer works. Last release for this app was in early 2013. Serious concern about not supporting iOS releases. Great app in a backward slide, I hope they fix it. I’m waiting on the support function to return emails, will update soon.

I really like this app and the features but it does not work like it did when I bought it! When I have a song open, I am suppose to be able to edit it, but when I go into edit mode, it becomes one line of the whole song which is extremely annoying! I emailed, wrote on their Facebook and messaged them and they wont reply back. I will have to look somewhere else. Do not buy this app is what I would recommend. How about it Guitar Tapp, an update or support???

I really want to give this app 5 stars and I would except for one big problem: I cannot edit tabs. The app offers this feature but it does not work. I’ve tried it countless times on both my iPhone 6 and my iPad and it does not work. All I see is one line of text along the top of the screen. I have emailed tech support numerous times and have never heard back from them. I guess if you don’t want the ability to edit tabs then go for this app. Everything else is great. But often the tabs - which come from all over the internet - are not correct and some simple edits would make them so much more useful. If they can fix this bug, I will return with 5 stars!

This app will not work on the new iPhone or the newer iPads you will not be able to edit any of your songs. There is a serious bug that has to be addressed. I contacted their customer service via email at least 15 times over the past three months with only an automated response from them.

Everything worked well until iOS 8. Now edit function does not view properly. Its worthless if I cant edit. Please fix it. It was by far the best app for it kind.

I use this app weekly, if not more. So far I have uploaded and edited numerous songs that I would never have thought that I could play. This makes that part of acquiring music very capable so playing is much more enjoyable, thanks again. No more three ring binders!!! It all fits in my iPad 4. (Can you imagine the bulk of it all? How any binders does it take to fit all of the music that you NEED?)

This app used to be great, but it has a MAJOR bug which makes it virtually impossible to edit tabs since iOS 8. As others have mentioned, an update is sorely needed. I have also emailed the developers in the past and never received a response. It almost seems as if the developers are no longer supporting the app or performing basic bug fixes. Please fix this problem soon, or at least communicate that it is being worked on.

Terrible interface. I spent more time trying to figure out how to use the app than actually using it.

as stated in a recent review, the editing does not work any more. i noticed this when upgrading from iOS 7 to 8. No response from support after multiple attempts. I may have to find another app. :(

Charge us more for update and hire another developer! Please fix this edit feature, I would gladly pay extra because this is a great app otherwise. I have been forced to buy an Andriod device just to edit, because Andriod version still allows editing, but the editor is WAY more harder to use. Have even bought OnSong, which is a great app to, but I already have a thousand songs and a lot of set lists in Guitapp and dont want to rebuild that for OnSong, unless this app doesnt get updated then I will be forced to move on. Please update!

This is a great app. Great job by the developers. But listen, stop forcing me to load a Facebook page or review. I dont have a Facebook, therefore, I cant like the guitar tapp page anyway. If I wanted to, I would, so please, In the next update, stop the app from forcing me to open links to Facebook and the App Store to review. That is all.

Apple should remove this app. No support. App has issues, and no response from support.

I love love this app! I use it in my music lessons for my own personal performances. The option to transpose keys is genius! Thank you and keep the songs coming!
